Kristin Pryzmocki was taken in October to the intensive care unit at Richmond University Medical Center where doctors considered putting her on a ventilator, WABC reported.

“I remember the doctor saying we have two patients in one,” she said. “It wasn’t just they were caring for me, but they were also caring for little baby Michael.”

Medical staff were prepared for a C-section if her condition worsened. However, she improved and was released 30 days later, Staten Island Live reported.

On Thursday, she was back at the hospital but on more positive terms. She gave birth, by C-section, to Michael, who weighed 9 pounds, 2 ounces.

“It was a scary time and then it ends up being just this miracle, to have this little baby who’s just a little trooper,” Pryzmocki said.
