NASHVILLE — Country musician Morgan Wallen was arrested for disorderly conduct after getting kicked out of Kid Rock's bar Saturday night, police said.
Wallen, known for the songs "The Way I Talk" and "Whiskey Glasses," was kicked out of the Broadway bar by security for kicking glass items inside, WSMV reported.
Wallen, who smelled strongly of alcohol, was given the chance to leave with friends but refused and was taken into custody by police, WSMV reported.
Wallen was arrested and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct, WSMV reported.
“Hey y’all just wanted to clear the air,” Wallen said Sunday afternoon on social media. “I went out downtown last night with a few old friends. After a couple bar stops, we were horse-playing with each other. We didn’t mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected.”
