NEW YORK — Performer and illusionist David Blaine has a new stunt in the works.
According to WPIX and WCBS, the 47-year-old announced Wednesday that he plans to use helium balloons to fly over New York's Hudson River. He will broadcast the new feat on his YouTube channel Aug. 31 in a special called "Ascension."
"On Aug. 31, worry becomes wonder, anxiety turns to awe, and the mundane becomes the magical," reads a trailer for the special.
