Marcelo Chaves and Ronald Maldonado were arrested at Miami International Airport on charges they brought drugs with them on a flight from Brazil, WTVJ reported.

In an arrest form obtained by WPLG, officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection stopped the pair getting off an American Airlines flight for suspicion of possession and transportation of narcotics. An officer conducting a random check said they found more than clothes packed in the pair’s luggage.

Officers said they found bottles containing liquid ketamine and GBL, as well as methamphetamine.

Chaves and Maldonado told investigators they had been “doing drugs in Brazil” but did not know how the drugs got into their baggage, WPLG reported.

In a statement to WTVJ, a Delta spokesperson said the men were off-duty at the time of their arrest and have been suspended: “Delta continually cooperates with law enforcement entities and the two off-duty flight attendants in question have been suspended pending outcome of an investigation.”
