Denise Richards, husband Aaron Phypers shot at during road rage incident

Denise Richards and her husband Aaron Phypers were victims of a road rage incident in Los Angeles on Monday when someone shot at their vehicle. Luckily, neither Richards nor Phypers was injured.

The incident —which was first reported by TMZ and confirmed by other media outlets — happened when the couple was on their way to Popsicle Studio.

Phypers was driving and trying to park when a driver behind him became upset and tried to get around them.

People magazine reported that the other driver had followed the couple and at one point, the van pulled alongside Phypers’ truck. Phypers rolled down the window to confront the driver. The driver claimed Phypers had cut him off and Phypers apologized.

No one was hurt, but an unnamed source told People magazine that the actor was “very shaken up.”

A representative for Richards confirmed the incident to USA Today.

When Richards arrived at the studio she was upset, but despite the incident, she worked 12 hours as Phypers stayed on the set. A production worker saw the bullet holes in the truck and called 911.

People magazine reported that no police report was filed.

Phypers and Richards married in 2018. She was previously married to Charlie Sheen from 2002 to 2006. The couple had two daughters — Sami, 18, and Lola, 17. She also has an adopted daughter, Eloise, 11.

Phypers was previously married to Nicollette Sheridan, USA Today reported.
