ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was arrested in Colorado on Thursday in connection with a domestic violence investigation, authorities said.
Jeudy, 23, was arrested in Arapahoe County on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal tampering with a domestic violence enhancer, KDVR-TV reported. According to a tweet from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, Jeudy is on a no-bond hold, which means he must appear before a judge before he can be released, AL.com reported.
Jeudy was a first-round pick of the Broncos in 2020, according to Pro-Football Reference.com. He has made 90 catches for 1,323 yards and three touchdowns in 26 career games, according to the website.

Jeudy has been attending the Broncos’ offseason program workouts, including last month’s voluntary minicamp, according to The Denver Post.
“We are aware of the matter involving Jerry Jeudy and are in the process of gathering more information,” the Broncos said in a statement sent to the newspaper.
According to the Colorado Revised Statues, second-degree criminal tampering occurs if someone “tampers with (the) property of another with intent to cause injury, inconvenience or annoyance to that person or to another or if he knowingly makes an unauthorized connection with property of a utility.”
Jeudy was born and raised in Deerfield Beach, Florida where he starred at Deerfield Beach High School, the Sun-Sentinel reported. Between his junior and senior seasons, he caught 117 passes for 1,554 yards with 25 touchdowns according to KDVR.
Jeudy also starred at the University of Alabama and was a consensus All-American selection in 2018, AL.com reported. He was a first-team All-American choice of the American Football Coaches Association in 2019, according to the website.
