Bianca Chambers received reports of her car seen throughout town through social media, even tracking the vehicle to a strip mall where she owns a business, WJBK reported.

On Wednesday she tracked the car to a barbershop, WDIV reported. She decided to confront the suspected car thief while he was getting his hair done.

Customers attempted to make a citizens arrest of the man while Chambers deflated the tires of her own car to keep him from leaving and then called police.

“I slashed all the tires and I thought that he was going to take off, and I didn’t know how long it was going to take for the police to pull up. And I refused to let him pull off again,” she said.

Chambers said although the thief had the car for two days, he had gotten it detailed during that time.

“They were driving. They were having a good time. They were smoking but, yes, when I got my car, it was very clean,” Chambers said.

The thief’s identity has not been released.

“You’re just the dumbest criminal, that’s all. You’re joyriding in my car like nobody was going to see,” Chambers said.
