To kick off National Streaming Day on May 20, Disney+ released a trailer for “Baymax!” the second animated series sequel following the 2014 animated feature film “Big Hero 6.”
Disney released the trailer on for the next animated series on Friday which follows the adventures of the beloved health care bot, Baymax, in the fictional city of San Fransokyo.
In 2017, Disney XD released the first animated sequel, “Big Hero 6: The Series.” The animated television show ran three seasons until February, 2021.
Disney had announced on Twitter in 2020 that they were working on “Baymax!” along with three other animated series.

Scott Adsit, the original voice actor for the 2014 animated film “Big Hero 6″ will return for the series. The series will feature Maya Rudolph as Aunt Cass and Ryan Potter as Hiro, according to IGN.
The company announced that the six-episode series will be released on June 29 on Disney+.

The 2014 animated film “Big Hero 6″ was loosely based on a Marvel comic. It won an Academy Award in 2015 for best animated feature film.
