First images: Indy 5 filming begins

First it was the Ark of the Covenant, then it was the Sankara Stones before the search for the Holy Grail.

There were even aliens.

Indiana Jones has embarked on his latest quest and photos have been leaked of Harrison Ford wearing the iconic fedora.

Indiana Jones 5, which does not yet have an official title, has started filming in the U.K.

IJ Adventure Outpost fan account posted images from the production showing Ford sporting the classic adventurer look, IGN reported.

Earlier IGN had shared media reports of a stuntman who had appeared to have been wearing what had been believed was a Harrison Ford mask filming near a vintage steam train with Nazi insignia.

Digital Spy reported the Indy 5 is being co-written and directed by “Logan’s” James Mangold after Steven Spielberg directed the first four films.

The film will star Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Mads Mikkelsen and Thomas Kretschmann.

Indy 5 will hit theaters July 29, 2022, according to Digital Spy.
