A Florida man has used remarkable means to get away from law enforcement.
First, he jumped from a boat into a swamp and more recently he’s used a lawn mower to speed away from officers.
Despite his attempts, Dusty Mobley is now in the Oklalooska County jail.
Back in January, police said they were trying to serve a warrant on Mobley. They found him on a boat in the Yellow River, but when they tried to talk to him about a $40,000 stolen boat, Mobley jumped into the swamp, WEAR-TV reported.
Police said Mobley had used heavy machinery to cut a hole in a metal building to take the boat from a business, Northwest Florida Daily News reported.
Officers caught up with him again on Saturday, but this time instead of swimming away in murky water, police said Mobley used a John Deere riding lawn mower as his means of escape.
Eventually, officers stopped him using a Taser and when they conducted a search, they said they found a gun, a handcuff key and a pipe that had methamphetamine residue on it, WJHG reported.
Mobley is facing several charges including grand theft of a vehicle, resisting an officer and carrying a concealed handcuff key, WEAR reported.
