PENSACOLA, Fla. — A Florida woman accused of attempting to rob a bank was arrested after she left her cellphone at the business, authorities said.
Resheca Lynell Marshall, 51, of Pensacola, was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted robbery and attempted grand theft, according to Escambia County Sheriff’s Office online booking records.
According to an arrest report, the incident occurred at about 11 a.m. CST at the Synovus Bank in Pensacola, WEAR-TV reported.
A bank teller told police that a woman, later identified as Marshall, approached her window and asked to withdraw $3,500, according to the television station.
The teller told police that Marshall wrote “I have a gun” and “Do as I say” on the slip when she passed it back to the employee, WEAR reported.

According to the arrest report, the teller said she froze because she was scared. Marshall then allegedly took the slip back and exited the bank, according to the television station.
According to the Pensacola Police Department, Marshall left her cellphone at the teller’s window, which enabled officers to locate her and then take her into custody, WALA-TV reported.
Marshall was booked into the Escambia County Jail and bail was set at $105,000, online records show.
She is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 3, according to online records.
