The band confirmed on Twitter that it is releasing a new album on June 2 called “But Here We Are.” The Foo Fighters also released a new track from the album, “Rescued.

The album will be the first one since the death of their drummer, Taylor Hawkins, last year.

The band released a statement obtained by The Associated Press, saying that the new album will have 10 tracks. It will be “a brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year,” the group said.

Other tracks on the album will include “Hearing Voices,” “Show Me How,” “Nothing At All,” and “Rest,” the AP reported.

Hawkins died on March 25, 2022, during a stop in South America at the age of 50, according to the AP.

Variety reported that the drummer of the new song and upcoming album has not been identified.

The album is also the band’s 11th studio album, Rolling Stone reported. It is co-produced by the Foo Fighters and Greg Kurstin, who produced the band’s last album, “Medicine at Midnight.”

The Foo Fighters will also be returning to the stage on May 24 in New Hampshire before a string of headlining spots at festivals including Bonnaroo and Outside Lands throughout the summer, according to Rolling Stone.
