They spoke about the judgment against them during their “Chrisley Confessions” podcast Thursday.
“I know all of you guys are wanting to know every detail that is going on in our lives, and I have to ask that you respect that we’re not allowed to talk about it at the present time,” Todd Chrisley said, according to People magazine. “There will come a time.”
He said “it’s a very sad, heartbreaking time for our family right now. But we still hold steadfast in our faith and we trust that God will do what he does best because God’s a miracle worker.”
The celebrity couple, known for their show “Chrisley Knows Best,” thanked their supporters who have sent them messages and even gifts and food.
Todd and Julie Chrisley said the podcast will continue for as long as they are allowed and then they will hand it off to Chase and Savannah Chrisley, two of their five children.
Part two of the ninth season of “Chrisley Knows Best” is scheduled to be released on USA this week. The show had been renewed for a 10th season but there is no word on the show’s status since their conviction, Deadline reported.
The Chrisleys are facing up to 30 years in prison after their June 7 convictions on conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and tax evasion.
They were accused of securing $30 million in fraudulent bank loans from the government to support their lifestyle, WSB reported.
They are currently on a location monitoring program that they must pay for. The Chrisleys may only leave their home for work, medical appointments, church services and court appearances. They also have to alert their probation officer for any spending over $1,000.
