“High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale announced on Thursday that she and her husband, Christopher French, are expecting their first child.
Tisdale, 35, shared the news on her Instagram account, People reported. She has been married to French since 2014, and the couple celebrated their sixth anniversary on Sept. 8, according to Elle.
Tisdale did not caption her photographs but showed off her baby bump while wearing a white dress.
French, a musician and composer, also shared a photograph of the couple cuddling.
According to IMDb.com, Tisdale appeared in more than 100 television advertisements during her childhood.
Tisdale got her big break on television when she was cast as Maddie Fitzpatrick on the Disney Channel’s “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" in 2004. Two years later she starred as Sharpay Evans in “High School Musical.” The brand included three films and a spin-off, “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure,” in 2011.
Tisdale recently starred on the CBS sitcom, “Carol’s Second Act," and the Netflix series, “Merry Happy Whatever,” People reported.
