DENTON COUNTY, Texas — Between calls about broken water mains, carbon monoxide alarms and structure fires, firefighters in Texas rescued a horse Thursday that had fallen into a frozen pond.
Denton County Emergency Services said crews used a water rescue suit, roped the equine and walked the horse to safety.
“The firefighter was cold, but doing OK after getting out of the weather and warming up,” the agency said on social media.
