The final round will be played Monday at Liberty National Golf Course, the site of this season’s first FedEx Cup playoff event, the PGA Tour announced.

Henri, a minimal hurricane that is threatening the New York metropolitan area and southern New England, is expected to bring heavy rains, winds and flooding to the New Jersey coast, according to the National Hurricane Center.

“Based on the projected path of Tropical Storm (now Hurricane) Henri and the tropical storm warning that has been issued by the National Hurricane Center for the area where the Northern Trust, there will be no play on Sunday,” the PGA Tour said in a statement Saturday. “Round 4 will be played on Monday.”

The Liberty National golf course is located close to New York Harbor in Jersey City, New Jersey, Golfweek reported.

Tour officials said they will make every attempt to complete the 72-hole event, even delaying the final round until Tuesday, ESPN reported. The next FedEx playoff event, the BMW Championship, begins Thursday at the Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland.

This is not the first time a storm has disrupted a tournament at Liberty National. In 2011, Hurricane Irene made landfall near the area and caused the cancellation of the Barclays tournament, Golfweek reported. That event was shortened to 54 holes and was won by Dustin Johnson, the magazine reported.
