According to the Asbury Park Press and People magazine, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and wife Lauren Pesce announced the sex of their baby-to-be, who is due in May, on social media Tuesday.

“IT’S OFFICIAL – I’M A BABY BOY!” read an Instagram post from an account created for the upcoming addition to the family. “My parents were waiting to see if they could host my first party for the reveal but because of the C word, they decided to be safe, most especially for me, and host it virtually!”

The soon-to-be parents also celebrated the news on their own Instagram pages.

“Gym, Tan, We’re having a Baby Boy,” Sorrentino, 38, quipped in one post.

The news came two weeks after the pair, who wed in 2018, announced that Pesce, 35, was pregnant with their first child, the outlets reported.

“We have a Baby Situation,” Sorrentino wrote in a Nov. 24 Instagram post.
