Joey Lawrence weds Samantha Cope

TEMECULA, Calif. — Whoa!

Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope tied the knot Sunday in an intimate ceremony at Southern California’s Temecula Creek Inn, People magazine confirmed.

“It just feels so right,” Lawrence, 46, recently told the entertainment news magazine of Cope, 12 years his junior.

“Life can be challenging at times, but when God gives you the right person, it’s worth it,” Lawrence added.

The actor’s brothers Matthew Lawrence and Andrew Lawrence, as well as his two daughters, Charleston and Liberty, were front-and-center for the nuptials, CNN reported.

Lawrence and Cope met in 2020 while co-starring in the Lifetime movie “My Husband’s Secret Brother,” the network reported.

According to People, Cope wore a Wtoo by Watters tulle gown, while Lawrence donned a cream suit by ASOS for the ceremony, planned by Heather Christan Folger of HCD Weddings and Events.

“From day one, it was such a safe place to be myself,” Cope told the magazine in the weeks leading up to the wedding.

“He loves everything about me and celebrates all those weird quirks about me. I was so blessed to be in a position to receive that. Two weeks in, I was like, ‘I will be with you forever,’” she added.
