The mother of Lisa Rinna has died.
Lois Rinna was 93 years old.
Lisa Rinna shared news of her mother’s death on Instagram, saying “Heaven Has a New Angel.”
Lisa Rinna was close to her mother, who would sometimes appear on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” with her daughter, People magazine reported.
Amelia Gray Hamlin, Lisa Rinna’s daughter, also announced her grandmother’s death on Instagram Monday.
Lois Rinna recently had a stroke, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star told her social media followers. Lisa Rinna said that the elder Rinna had a stroke in the past that took months of rehabilitation for her mother to learn how to walk and talk again her daughter shared, Entertainment Tonight reported.
More than 60 years ago, Lois Rinna survived an attack by David Carpenter, known as the Trailside Killer. Carpenter was a rapist and serial killer who killed at least 10 people, according to People magazine. Lisa Rinna said her mother had been stabbed and hit with a hammer. A military policeman saw Carpenter driving down a deserted road with Lois Rinna, so the officer followed them.
