NEW YORK — A man at a New York City steakhouse was stabbed on Friday by another customer who became annoyed by his argument with an employee, authorities said.
According to the New York Police Department, a 24-year-old man got into an argument at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Manhattan with the employee at about 10 p.m., WABC-TV reported.
The customer was complaining about the food service at the restaurant when two women sitting near the man approached and began arguing with him, according to WNBC-TV.

At that point, police said one of the women grabbed a steak knife and stabbed the victim in the chest, WPIX-TV reported.
The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, according to the television station. The restaurant employee was not injured, according to WABC.
Both women fled the restaurant after the stabbing, WNBC reported.
According to the television station, police are searching for the women allegedly involved in the attack.
