SAGINAW, Mich. — One person is dead and four others are injured after gunfire erupted overnight in Saginaw, Michigan, authorities said.
According to WNEM, the incident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. Monday on Randolph Street. Saginaw police responded to reports of a shooting and arrived to find five people who had suffered “at least one gunshot wound each,” the department said in a news release.
One of the victims, a 29-year-old man from Saginaw, died, according to the release. A 30-year-old woman and three men, who range in age from 27 to 30, were wounded, police said. Authorities have not publicly released their names.
The department and Michigan State Police continue to investigate the case. No further information was immediately available.
