More than 142,000 scented candles sold exclusively at Dollar Tree stores nationwide have been recalled for safety because its high flames pose a fire hazard.
Adco Trading Inc., the company that makes Sure Scents 2-1 Peaceful Stream/Moonlit Waves Candles, said there were two reports of glass breaking because the flame height reached above the 2-1/2 inch glass votive, according to the U.S. Consumer Protection Safety Commission.
The candles were sold across the country from July to September. Customers are urged to return them for a refund.
