The fights were reported at 7:30 p.m. PDT, the Los Angeles Times reported. Police in Buena Park said they originally received reports of gunshots, but officers determined there were no gunmen at the park.

There were no significant injuries among the theme park guests, KNBC-TV reported. However, three people were injured, firefighters told KTTV.

“The safety of Knott’s Berry Farm’s guests and associates is always our top priority,” the park said in a statement. “On Saturday evening, the decision was made to close the park three hours early due to unruly behavior and altercations involving a number of teenagers. This behavior did not align with our park’s values, and was not the experience we want any guest to have while visiting Knott’s Berry Farm.”

The park’s closing time was 11 p.m. PDT for Knott’s Summer Nights, KTTV reported.

Police asked people to avoid the area as they investigated the incident. Several people were questioned by police, including victims who suffered injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, KCBS reported.

Video footage from the park Saturday showed a chaotic scene as people rushed to safety, The Orange County Register reported.

It was unclear whether the fights were in the same location at the park or in separate areas, according to the newspaper.

There have been no arrests, police said.
