It’s time to catch ‘em all again. Well, snap ‘em all.
The eagerly anticipated follow-up to the 1999 classic game, “Pokémon Snap,” is here. The game was originally released on Nintendo 64. On Wednesday, The Pokémon Company announced during a livestream that a new installment of the game will be released for Nintendo Switch.
“New Pokémon Snap” will be similar to the original game. Instead of catching a Pokémon, players take pictures of them, The Washington Post reported. Players can explore areas like jungles and beaches.
More details about “New Pokémon Snap” are expected to be revealed June 24, The Sporting News reported.
The other game revealed was “Pokémon Smile,” which intends to make brushing teeth fun for young children and their parents. The game is available for free on iOS and Android devices, the Post reported.
That’s right, Trainers—#PokemonSnapIsBack! #NewPokemonSnap is an all-new adventure inspired by the classic Nintendo 64 game.
