GEORGE, Wash. — Eggs are already becoming expensive. This certainly did not help matters.
Officials with the Washington State Patrol said a semi-truck crashed early Thursday on Interstate 90 in central Washington, spilling eggs onto the highway.
The crash happened near the city of George at milepost 157 and left the truck on its side, state troopers said. Not over easy, by the way.
Photographs taken by state troopers showed the truck was carrying eggs, which were scattered on the highway, KREM-TV reported.
The crash blocked westbound traffic on the interstate, according to the television station.
It was unclear what caused the crash or whether the driver was injured. State troopers did not release any other information.
