“Baywatch” actress Pamela Anderson is married again.
Anderson, 53, married her bodyguard, bodybuilder Dan Hayhurst, in a private ceremony on Dec. 24, according to E! News. The couple was married on the grounds of her home on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, the website reported.
“Pamela is over the moon and feels more at home than ever before,” E! News quoted an anonymous source. “This is really such a full circle moment and return to her roots. They are actually both natives to Vancouver Island. They are splitting their time between Malibu and her family home in Vancouver. Spending time during quarantine has been cathartic for them both.”
This is Anderson’s fifth marriage. She was previously married to Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee and has two adult sons from that union. She was also married twice to Rick Salomon and once to singer Kid Rock.
Anderson’s wedding comes less than a year after she was married to Jon Peters for 12 days, CNN reported. Anderson later disputed that marriage in an interview with The New York Times, stating, “I wasn’t married. No ... I’m a romantic. I think I’m an easy target. And I think people just live in fear ... I don’t know what that was about, but I think fear really played a lot into it.”
The couple never filed the legal paperwork for their marriage certificate, ET Online later confirmed.
In May, Anderson told the Times that she “absolutely” hoped to get married one more time.
“Just one more time. Just one more time, please, God,” Anderson told the newspaper. “One more time only. Only!”
