The CNN anchor introduced the world to his mini-me on April 30, three days after his birth via a surrogate.

“I sort of wonder, ‘What was I waiting for?’ This is a new level of love,” Cooper, 53, told People in June, adding, “It feels like my life has actually begun.”

Meanwhile, Wyatt assumes the Cutest Baby reins from frequent playmate Benjamin Allen, son of Andy Cohen, one of Cooper’s best friends, People reported.

Cooper, who is gay, explained in his late April announcement that his son is the namesake of his own father, who died when he was 10, and that Morgan is a family name on his mother’s side, the late Gloria Vanderbilt.

“I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I am so grateful for all those who have paved the way, and for the doctors and nurses and everyone involved in my son’s birth,” Cooper said, adding, “Most of all, I am eternally grateful to a remarkable surrogate who carried Wyatt, watched over him lovingly, tenderly, and gave birth to him.”

Cooper co-parents Wyatt with his former partner, 47-year-old Benjamin Maisani, People reported.
