OMAHA, Neb. — Peyton Manning can take a joke, and the former Super Bowl quarterback received some good-natured ribbing at the College World Series on Saturday.

Manning, who was in Omaha to watch Mississippi face Auburn, had his image flashed on the Jumbotron screen, which is not unusual. Celebrities are commonly pointed out at the event.

However, the Pro Football Hall of Famer was identified as “Eli Manning’s brother,” AL.com reported.

Eli Manning, along with the brothers’ father, Archie Manning, attended Ole Miss and won two Super Bowls with the New York Giants. Seems like there still remains some bad blood after Peyton Manning decided to attend the University of Tennessee.

Peyton Manning was wearing an Omaha cap during Friday’s Texas-Notre Dame game at the CWS. His “Omaha” audibles, particularly during his Super Bowl appearances, became legendary, and the quarterback even received a key to the city in 2014.

His Omaha Productions has a relationship with ESPN, the broadcasters of the College World Series, to produce content including the ManningCast alternate feed during “Monday Night Football,” the Knoxville News Sentinel reported.

And Peyton Manning’s videos, particularly his satiric “retirement home” video that has made the rounds on YouTube, are legendary and shows how the quarterback can poke fun at himself.

Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin, who was also in Omaha for the CWS, captured the trolling moment and posted it to Twitter. After all, SEC rivalries are forever.
