ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A flight from Los Angeles to Nashville, Tennessee, was forced to land in New Mexico on Friday afternoon after a passenger attempted to break into the cockpit, authorities said.
According to The Associated Press, Delta Air Lines Flight 386 had to be diverted to Albuquerque after an “unruly” man attempted to enter the locked cockpit.
Albuquerque International Sunport spokesperson Stephanie Kitts told KOB-TV that the flight landed around 2:20 p.m. MDT Friday.

The unidentified passenger was unable to enter the cockpit and no one was injured, Kitts told the television station. The FBI will investigate the incident.
According to the AP, video taken aboard the plane showed the zip-tied and shoeless man surrounded by passengers and crew members as he repeated over and over again: “Stop this plane!”
“The plane landed safely and the passenger was removed by police and the FBI. He is in custody now,” Delta said in a statement.
No one was injured, KRQE reported.
Frank Fisher, a spokesperson for the FBI in Albuquerque, confirmed to the AP that the agency had responded to a report of a plane diverted to the city’s airport but said there had been no threat to the public.
