COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Police have arrested a man on drug charges after they found him shouting for help while trapped inside of a port-a-potty.
Deputies with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office were called for reports of a suspicious person, and they heard yelling when they arrived. In their report, deputies said they “observed a foot sticking out of the bottom of a single port-a-potty.” The deputy said he could also hear the man yelling from inside.
The deputy was able to get the man out of the bathroom and identified him as James Gousse. Deputies said Gousse told them he had gotten his foot stuck in the door.
The deputy who looked inside the port-a-potty said they found a baggie with a powdery substance, which later tested positive for fentanyl, as well as a syringe, WBBH reported.
According to police, Gousse now faces two drug charges, including possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl).
