NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — A Massachusetts woman will be charged after police say she fired a gun inside a Walmart.
The gun’s owner, a 31-year-old woman, was digging through her purse while in the checkout line when the gun went off, WFXT reported.
Nobody was hurt. The bullet was found on the floor.
The woman’s toddler was with her in the store, but in a shopping cart at the time.
Police said the woman will be charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet of an occupied building. She may also lose her gun permit.
