NORFOLK, Va. — A pop-up bookstore in Virginia is offering free books to families for the holidays.
The Reach foundation pop-up holiday bookstore is giving two free books to families now through December, WAVY reported.
The organization has had an increase in requests for books because of the coronavirus. In April, the group launched a campaign to give away more than 32,000 books.
“Our Free Holiday Bookstore is one example of how we are adapting to new challenges and getting reading resources in the hands of those that need it most,” Jennifer Goff, Executive Director at REACH, told WAVY.
