The Baton Rouge-based company has more than 530 restaurants in 31 states, according to company officials and Bloomberg News.

“It’s no secret that today’s hiring market is a challenge,” AJ Kumaran, Co-CEO and COO of Raising Cane’s, said in a statement. “Ahead of our massive growth next year, having the support we need is critical.”

Raising Cane’s currently employees 40,000 crewmembers, company officials said. Each new hire begins their career with restaurant training, “giving them the ability to support the restaurants at any level,” according to the company.
