Davie police said Choppa, whose real name is Bryson Potts, was arrested and charged with burglary, drug possession and carrying a concealed firearm, WBBH reported.

“During this arrest I was setup, substances were planted on me that I don’t consume/use/own, my name was lied upon, and I was mistreated in the process,” he said Thursday on social media, WHBQ reported. “This case will be beat and I will walk away a free man, remember it’s innocent until proven guilty not guilty until proven innocent.”

Davie police said Potts and another man are seen on surveillance video wearing ski masks and jumping over a gate at the Superior Towing Company tow yard around 2 a.m., WBBH reported.

Investigators said that Potts told them he jumped the fence to get a watch from a car in the lot. A police report said the car was towed earlier in the day, but the car was not in that yard, WBBH reported.

The rapper is known for his song “Shotta Flow,” which has more than 162 million views on YouTube.

After his release Thursday, Potts dropped a self-directed video for his single “Beat Box (First Day Out),” which appears to show footage of him walking out of jail and ends with a photo of his mug shot and a promotional request to buy merchandise.
