Months after being diagnosed with cancer, the wife of “Full House” actor Dave Coulier has given an update on his health.

Melissa Coulier said his treatment has gotten more difficult since he started treatment in October. She sat down with WXYZ in Detroit.

Dave Coulier was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which he told his fans about in November.

He said he had an upper respiratory infection that made his lymph nodes swell. That’s how the doctors found out he had cancer, People magazine reported.

“My doctors called me back and they said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and it’s called B cell and it’s very aggressive,’” he said in November.

“He has some really tough days, and as the chemo has been accumulating it gets a little tougher and more difficult,” she told WXYZ.

But she said that his joy, humor and positive attitude have helped them get through it.

“He has such a positive attitude, and you need that in order to really fight it. Every morning, if he’s feeling up for it, we try to put on a song and do a little dance party with the dogs, because when you do feel good, you have to celebrate that too,” she said.

Dave Coulier has also given updates to fans on his “Full House Rewind” podcast.

He said since his diagnosis he has been trying to eat right with the help of his wife.

“We’re focusing on fueling his body with real whole foods, cutting out refined sugar & processed foods, spending time in nature, and incorporating infrared saunas, breathwork, and massages to support Dave’s strength and comfort,” she wrote on Instagram on Nov. 13.

He told the “Today” show when he disclosed the cancer diagnosis that he hopes to be in remission when he completes chemotherapy in February, US Weekly reported.
