Recall alert: 2 lots of babyganics bubble bath recalled due to potential bacteria contamination

Babyganics has announced the recall of two lots of its bubble bath due to potential bacteria contamination.

The company said that internal testing found that the products contained pluralibacter gergoviae bacterium.

Typically, the bacteria will not make a healthy person ill, but someone who is immunocompromised or has broken or irritated skin can have a risk of infection.

The affected lots of the bubble bath was the chamomile verbena variety sold in 20-ounce bottles.

The bottles have UPC number 8 13277 01375 4 with lot codes Y314 or Y315 on the bottom, the company said in a news release.

The bubble bath was sold at select retailers over the past two months.

Consumers who have the bubble bath are being directed to visit babyganicsbubblebathrecall.com to provide their product and contact information for a full refund, as well as for instructions on how to properly dispose of the bubble bath.
