Avery’s Savory Popcorn is recalling all flavors of its gourmet popcorn because it may contain undeclared allergens.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to specific types of allergens such as milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts or sulfites, “run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.”
The popcorn was distributed in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, and Texas. The product was shipped direct from the Avery’s Savory Popcorn LLC online store, the FDA said.
The product was shipped in plastic bags of various sizes.
If you have any product remaining shipped to you between Nov. 20, 2022, and Dec. 20, 2022, the FDA suggests you discard it and notify Avery’s Savory Popcorn LLC at info@savorypopcorn.net for a full refund.
