Scary job: Companies will pay $1,000 for someone to watch hours of horror movies

NOW PLAYING ABOVE

Tired of watching “Hocus Pocus” over and over again?

Is “Beetlejuice” not scary enough for you?

Need some extra cash in your pocket for the holiday season?

CableTV.com and HighSpeedInternet.com are looking for one lucky, or unlucky, person to plop down on the couch and get paid to binge-watch 24 hours of horror movies.

While you’re watching the scary movies, you must live-tweet the marathon, the entry form stipulates.

You can choose whatever service you want to use, and it doesn’t matter which movies you watch as long as they’re scary, Insider reported.

In exchange for watching between 12 and 16 movies, you’ll get $1,000, a $50 Starbucks card and candy.

The companies would like to know about you, so you should have a biography ready for uploading, and you can show off your horror movie libraries, memorabilia or tattoos dedicated to the genre.
