Slippery slope: Man skis on Houston’s snowy interstate

HOUSTON — While Texas was coming to grips with bitter cold and power outages, one man decided to test his skiing skills -- on an interstate highway.

In posts on Facebook and Instagram, Travis Mcgullam posted a video of a man on skis being pulled by a vehicle on Interstate 10 in Houston, the Houston Chronicle reported.

“Houston, let’s not try this at home ... again,” the newspaper reported.

“First person to ski down I-10 in Houston,” Mcgullam posted on both social media platforms.

While it is implied that it is Mcgullam skiing on the road, it is never revealed for certain. Nevertheless, there is definitely a man on skis, brandishing a canned drink in his hand and yelling to passing motorists.

“Come on,” the man yelled at drivers speeding past him on the slippery slope. “Let’s go.”

Mcgullam’s Facebook post has been seen by more than 14,000 people and has been shared more than 60,000 times.

It also attracted many reactions on social media, including on Twitter.
