FBI agents arrested and charged Edward Lang, 25, with crimes including assaulting an officer and civil disorder, The New York Times reported.

“Decisions have consequences,’' William Sweeney Jr., acting director in charge in New York said on social media. “Edward Lang is in custody for the ones he made during the assault on our Capitol.”

Many of Lang’s social media accounts were disabled Sunday. The Times reported that in one of his videos, Lang wrote: “I was the leader of Liberty today. Arrest me. You are on the wrong side of history.”

Many of those who have been arrested were identified through their social media posts.

Another New York man was arrested a day earlier. Dominic Pezzola, of Rochester, is seen on video using a police shield to break a window at the Capitol before rushing inside the building, WNBC reported.

Several other New Yorkers have been arrested including an MTA employee and the son of a Brooklyn judge, The Times reported.
