Super Bowl 2020: Security tackles woman who tried to run onto playing field

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — The best tackle during the early stages of Super Bowl LIV may have come from the security staff at Hard Rock Stadium.

A woman apparently tried to run onto the field during the first quarter, according to The Associated Press.

Her efforts were thwarted by stadium security personnel, who made a nifty sideline tackle before the woman reached the playing surface.

The incident was captured by an Associated Press photographer.

It was unclear whether charges would be filed against the woman, according to the AP.
