Investigators told KUSA that the July incident began as a fight between the Mongols and Hells Angels motorcycle clubs, and ended with the death of William “Kelly” Henderson, a member of Hells Angels.

During the fight that night, two other Hells Angels members were beaten and shot as well, The Denver Gazette reported.

In a press release, the Arvada Police department said the suspects in the case also used a helmet to beat a person who came to try to help the injured people and then rode over them with a motorcycle, leaving them with life-long injuries. Two other people were riding motorcycles in the area and were run off the road, sustaining serious injuries.

The suspects were tracked down in California, Colorado, Florida and Utah, according to investigators.

“These violent defendants have been removed from the street because of the perseverance of dedicated law enforcement men and women from Arvada PD and multiple other agencies. We will not stand for violence and this case illustrates the time and effort we will put in to remove these destructive individuals from our communities,” said David S. Booth, special agent in charge of the Denver Office of the ATF, in a statement.

The 10 suspects are facing a total of 33 criminal counts, including first-degree murder, attempted murder and assault, KDVR reported.
