MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are searching for a suspect after investigators said a DoorDash delivery driver shot a McDonald’s employee early Monday in Tennessee.
According to WHBQ-TV, the incident occurred about 3 a.m. at a McDonald’s restaurant on Winchester Road in Memphis. A McDonald’s worker told Memphis police that he was handing an order to a DoorDash employee outside the restaurant when the delivery driver opened fire, striking the McDonald’s employee’s hand and abdomen, WHBQ reported.
At 3:02 am, officers responded to a shooting at 7101 Winchester. A male shooting victim was located and xported to ROH in critical condition.

The McDonald’s worker was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in critical condition, according to WHBQ.
