AUSTIN, Texas — A Texas man who fell asleep in the back of his truck was found safe after the vehicle was stolen while he was still in it.
Austin police said Luis Balderas Garcia, 22, left Club Lobos around 5:37 a.m. Sunday and fell asleep in the bed of his truck in the parking lot outside the club, KXAN reported.
The truck was stolen while Garcia was asleep in the back. Because of the circumstances of his disappearance, no one was able to reach him. He was reported missing around 11 a.m., KVUE reported.
He was later found, uninjured, at Round Rock.
It is unclear if his truck was recovered or if anyone was in custody for the vehicle theft.
