Grace Gwaltney and her bridal party were posing for photos in downtown Pittsburgh when the “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” and “Toy Story” actor asked the bride if the two of them could have a photo together, Newsweek reported.

“When it first happened we were all confused and it didn’t click for a second. Most of us stared quietly for a second. Then we all erupted in screams,” photographer Rachel Rowland told Newsweek.

Rowland told the publication that at first, it was just Hanks and the bride then the Oscar winner yelled for all of the bridesmaids to join them.

Eventually, Hanks’ wife, Rita Wilson, jumped in for a few shots.

Hanks is in the Steel City filming “A Man Called Otto.” According to the IMDB page about the movie, it is about “a cranky retired man [who] strikes up an unlikely friendship with his boisterous new neighbors.”

It’s an American remake of a Swedish film and is scheduled to be released on Dec. 25.

Hanks was previously in Pittsburgh filming “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” a biopic about Fred Rogers, in which he played the children’s programming icon, which was released in 2019.

This wasn’t the first time Hanks had provided extra wedding memories for newlyweds. He surprised a couple in New York City’s Central Park in 2016 while he was out for a jog, The Independent reported.
