Tristen Nash was the only child of the pro wrestler and his wife, Tamara Nash, according to Fox News.
Kevin Nash, 63, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015. The announcement of his son’s death came on what would have been the 64th birthday of his longtime wrestling tag-team partner, Scott Hall.
Hall died on March 14 after suffering a series of heart attacks two nights earlier.
Tristen Nash and his father had several issues in the past but publicly made up, the News-Herald of Southgate, Michigan, reported. The two men were working on a podcast about Kevin Nash’s wrestling career, according to the newspaper.
In 2014, the men were arrested after a fight at Kevin Nash’s residence in Florida, the News-Herald reported.
