MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Tennessee highway was forced to partially close after a truck crashed and spilled Alfredo sauce onto the road.
Memphis Police told WHBQ that they were forced to shut down part of Interstate 55 after the 18-wheeler crashed into a wall on the interstate.
Kate Bieri, a WHBQ reporter, shared video on Twitter showing the truck with its side peeled open and the highway covered in white sauce. In her post, Bieri said, “You can smell it!”

Traffic was limited to one lane while crews worked to remove the truck and clean up the road.
Video from WHBQ showed cars moving slowly through the mess as crews used heavy machinery to try to clean up.

One woman was taken from the scene to a hospital in noncritical condition, police told WHBQ.
