CROWN POINT, Ind. — It’s unclear how it happened, but an empty dump trailer crashed, leaving the vehicle upended against an Indiana highway overpass Thursday morning.

The crash was quickly cleared around 1 a.m. and the bridge was inspected for structural integrity and deemed OK, WRTV reported.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Glen Fifield called the accident a “mishap.”

The driver’s condition was unclear.
