Peanut Butter and Jelly are now free to live their lives in the comfort of Purdue University.
President Joe Biden pardoned Peanut Butter during the annual White House ceremony.
The ceremonial blessing was greeted with Peanut Butter with a couple of gobbles.
Biden also pardoned Peanut Butter’s companion bird, Jelly,
The birds were chosen from a farm in Jasper, Indiana, WDRB reported.

After they are done being in the spotlight, they will be taken to Purdue’s Department of Animal Sciences in the College of Agriculture, the Lafayette Journal & Courier reported.
The school will study them over the next few months so students can learn about poultry production and the industry, the newspaper reported.
