LAYTON, Utah — A Utah woman is behind bars after investigators said she shared child porn videos using a social media app.
According to KUTV, Mariah Butler, 28, of Layton, was arrested on eight child sexual exploitation charges after police discovered cellphone videos depicting sexual abuse and rape of children, including babies, while searching her home Thursday.
Additionally, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which began looking into the case in January, said Butler advertised the videos using an unnamed social media app and shared them with others, KUTV reported.
Butler was booked in the Davis County Jail, where she is being held on $20,000 bond, the Gephardt Daily reported.
